VocaBag is a web app for learning vocabulary in English: 11 languages, including Moroccan Darija, with audio, transliteration, quizzes and spaced repetition. You can start for free, no credit card needed.

All translations and explanations are in English. Each language has about 1,000 words grouped by everyday themes (greetings, food, travel, family, transport, money…).
Moroccan Darija, a language in its own right
Darija, the Arabic spoken every day in Morocco, is rarely offered by language-learning apps, which mostly teach Standard Arabic. On VocaBag it has its own course, separate from Modern Standard Arabic: 1,049 words in 21 categories, each in Arabic script, with its Latin transliteration, its English translation, audio and example sentences.
The vocabulary is free to browse, no account needed: Moroccan Darija vocabulary.
How you learn
- Discovery: new words on cards, with audio and an example.
- Exercises: multiple choice, matching, free translation, audio dictation and spoken answer.
- Spaced repetition: each word comes back for review just before you forget it, at longer and longer intervals.
